Students in grade 7 - 8 should spend approximately 3-4 hours of homework per week.

Students who do not complete homework assignments must provide the teacher with a signed parental note indicating the reasons for incomplete homework. Consistent and unexplained failure to complete homework assignments may result in in-school detentions until homework assignment has been completed. Parents will be notified of any detention one day ahead of the detention being served.

Parents are asked to spend time helping their children with daily homework, especially, memorization of short Surahs of Quran. Revision of lessons (memorization of short Surahs) at home is an important part in the total process of memorization. Parents are requested to spend time in listening to their memorized Surahs.
